Ranking the 10 most important games for the Bills in the 2024 season
NFL schedules came out this past Wednesday, and teams released their schedules. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills released their schedule from the construction site of their new stadium, however, that's not the theme here.
The Buffalo Bills challenging schedule includes some games that will be more important than others as they could determine the outcome of the Bills' season. Most games will be against their rivals, but games could be more important due to the scheduled week. This list ranks the importance of these upcoming regular season games from 10-1 (10 being the lesser crucial games).
Ranking the 10 most important games for the Bills in the 2024 season
10. Week 1, Arizona Cardinals
Week 1 games will always be crucial in terms of setting the tone. Many fans will overlook this game due to the Cardinals' 4-13 record in the season prior. However, they were without their starting quarterback for the majority of the year and just drafted one of the most talented receiving prospects in recent history.
The Cardinals still have an effective running game but probably plan to test the Bills' new secondary with their new weapon in Marvin Harrison Jr. and form their quarterback and receiver chemistry early. The Bills' secondary is a part of the Bills' defense that is a mystery on how they will perform, especially in week one. The corners would mainly be returning starters, yet the safeties would still be a mystery on how they'd perform.
The new safeties include Taylor Rapp, Mike Edwards, and 2024 second-round pick Cole Bishop. It's still unknown who will get the nod to start, but regardless, there could be some growing pains within that position early on, and the Cardinals may take advantage of that.
