The Buffalo Bills selected 10 players in the 2024 NFL Draft and it is now up to the coaching staff to determine how these players fit on the roster, or if they even have a spot on the 53-man roster. In the past few years, the starting lineup has been pretty much set and rookies were not really expected to be key contributors their first year in the league.
That changes this year as the Bills have had to release a number of key players and the team is going to have to rely more on this draft class to play meaningful snaps right away. With that in mind, these are the projected roles for each draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2024 season.

Projected Role: Starting 'X' receiver
The Buffalo Bills were going to draft at least one wide receiver and many expected they would add more than that. While the Bills didn't draft more than one, the player they did is expected to be a starter right away.
Shortly after the Bills selected Keon Coleman, general manager Brandon Beane discussed the former Florida State wide receiver and what his role might be. He said they expect him to play the 'X' receiver and to contribute right away.
Among all the projections for the rookies, this was the most straight forward as the Bills have already made the role clear.
