Predicting the Buffalo Bills starting offense for Week 1
Wide Receivers: Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis
Over the past few seasons, the Buffalo Bills have lined up a majority of the time in three wide receiver sets because that was the best personnel they had. However, the addition of Dalton Kincaid could result in the Bills only having two traditional wide receivers on the field.
If that is the case, there really isn't much discussion here as it will be Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis on the outside. This will allow tight ends Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid to work the middle of the field.
When the Buffalo Bills to shift to three wide receiver sets, it will likely be matchup based and could be either Khalil Shakir or Deonte Harty depending on the playcall.
Offensive Line: Dion Dawkins (LT), Connor McGovern (LG), Mitch Morse (C), O'Cyrus Torrence (RG), Spencer Brown (RT)
The Buffalo Bills have two new starters this year on the offensive line with Connor McGovern as the starting left guard and O'Cyrus Torrence as the right guard. The changes at guard should help improve not only the protection for Josh Allen but make it a little easier on the run game at the line of scrimmage.
While the expectation was this would be the starting offensive line since after the NFL Draft, there could still be changes during the season. The one position that seems to have the most uncertainty is right tackle as Spencer Brown hasn't been as consistent as many hoped entering Year 3. If he continues to struggle, the team might turn to Germain Ifedi, who they just signed this week.
