Cornerbacks: Tre'Davious White, Dane Jackson, Taron Johnson

Similar to middle linebacker, the Buffalo Bills had an open competition for the starting cornerback spot opposite Tre'Davious White. However, unlike middle linebacker the Bills had two players really emerge that could make a strong case to be the starter between Dane Jackson and Christian Benford.

Entering the game, I think its a coin flip between these two but I think the coaching staff is going to go with the experience in Dane Jackson. Earlier this week, general manager Brandon Beane also had some big compliments for Jackson and said he thought this was his best training camp.

Similar to Dodson, it wouldn't be surprising to see Jackson lose the starting spot at some point this season as Christian Benford also has had momentum heading into the season. However, the coaching staff should feel more confident about their options here.

Safety: Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer

For the first time since Week 2 last season, the Buffalo Bills are going to have Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer starting alongside each other. Hyde suffered a neck injury against the Tennessee Titans that forced him to miss the remainder of the year.

However, Hyde is back and the Bills were able to re-sign Jordan Poyer this offseason to a two-year contract. Over the past few seasons, these two have developed into one of the best safety duos in the league. While they are getting towards the end of their careers, these two should combine for another season of being one of the best duos in the league.
