Wild Card: New York Jets
The New York Jets thought last season would be the year they returned to the playoffs but those hopes quickly evaporated when Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles on the opening drive of the season. The former MVP is set to return this year and help an offense with a lot of potential finally reach that with Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.
Meanwhile, the defense is still very good and will be the strength for this team. The Jets won't be able to catch the Bills for the AFC East division but will not be far behind and should earn a spot as a Wild Card.
Wild Card: Cincinnati Bengals
The other division race that should be very close and competitive is in the AFC North with the Bengals, Ravens, Browns, and Steelers. It would appear that the Steelers are a distant fourth compared to the other teams but it is tough to count out a Mike Tomlin-led team.
In the end, the Browns and Steelers are going to be outside of the playoff picture looking in while the Bengals are able to make it as a Wild Card. The Bengals were in the Super Bowl two years ago and still have Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.
