Tyler Nubin - Safety

Tyler Nubin has five seasons with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, bringing a ton of experience to the draft with him. He's one of the top safeties in this draft and will likely be available in the 20s of next year's draft. He's a bigger safety at 6'2" and weighs 210 pounds. Each year of his collegiate career, he's increased his interception total, culminating with five so far this season.

His PFF grade of 90.3 ranks him eighth among all NCAA safeties. When targeted by the opposing quarterback, he's allowed only five completions on 19 targets, for a QB rating of only 17.5. He's also lined up over the slot as the team's nickel corner on 84 snaps. He's played in the box and as the deep safety, offering a ton of experience and versatility.
