It is time for the tournament in the NFL that will kick off this weekend. After taking the AFC East with a Sunday night win against the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills (11-6) find themselves as the number two seed and will welcome Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers into Orchard Park for a 1 PM wild card battle.

Last year in Week 5, the Bills beat down the Steelers 38-3 but both teams look different than they did last year. Both of them have finished the season strong and ultimately landed in the playoffs because of the Tennessee Titans defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18. Nonetheless, seeing these two squads in the playoffs led by Mike Tomlin and Sean McDermott is good for the NFL.

This will be the first time where McDermott and Tomlin meet in the playoffs, both of whom were college teammates and William & Mary. They are familiar with each other and can scheme up a great defensive game for an opposing defense. The one disadvantage for the Steelers on the defense is that they will be without Defensive Player of the Year candidate T.J. Watt who suffered a knee injury in Week 18.

Even though the Bills have that advantage, the Steelers are still no push around team.

Here are three things to know about the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into the Wild Card round.
