Over the past three weeks, there may not be a team playing better football than the Buffalo Bills. After a disappointing game against the Jets, the Bills have outscored their opponents 123-33 during their three game win streak.
This past week was probably their most impressive game considering the opponent. The Bills would beat the Dolphins at their own game as they would outscore Miami by 28 points and cruise to a victory.
However, this week creates their own set of challenges for the Buffalo Bills in their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The defense is going to be missing a number of key starters in Week 5.
Entering this game, the Bills knew they would be without Tre'Davious White after he suffered a torn Achilles against the Dolphins. Their top cornerback will miss the remainder of the season and he likely will be replaced by Dane Jackson.
In addition, the Bills won't have Greg Rousseau, who was ruled out due to a foot injury. The defense may be getting some help with the potential return of Von Miller, who is confident he will be playing on Sunday.
Even if he does play, the Bills are going to try and ease him back and he may be limited. The Buffalo Bills have been one of best defenses in the league but this game has the potential to be another high-scoring matchup with the pressure on the Bills offense to get into the end zone offense.
This game on Sunday morning will give the Buffalo Bills a chance to erase what the national audience saw in Week 1. They can show that the game against the Jets was the exception and not the rule with the 9:30 AM EST start.
The Buffalo Bills take the most of their opportunity and extend their win streak to four games.
