Bills' offense might start to shift away from shotgun.
I wrote about Joe Brady shortly after he was appointed as the interim coordinator and what I learned is that Brady seems to prefer to run plays from under center. We've seen the Bills offense be effective and efficient in this formation. We also know that those Carolina offenses ran by Brady ranked near the bottom in run plays out of the shotgun formation.
I'm not saying the Bills won't run any plays out of the shotgun with Brady calling plays, but I do think we might see fewer shotgun plays than what we are accustomed to. Shotgun seems to be a favorite of Josh Allen's so; the Bills won't go completely away from it. My hope is the shotgun draw play is removed from the playbook.
