Pick 96: Maason Smith, DT (LSU)

The Buffalo Bills' focus remains on the defensive line with their next pick by selecting defensive tackle Maason Smith out of LSU. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Bills were among numerous teams that brought Smith in for a visit.

The reason Rapoport describes Smith as an "intriguing" prospect is because he has a great physical skill set and can be a disruptive defensive tackle. However, he didn't really produce for LSU, and on the field never really jumped out. At this point of the draft though, it is worth the gamble and he would be a nice addition to the rotation.

Pick 128: Mason McCormick, OG (South Dakota State)

The interior offensive line is one that has gone through a lot of change for the Bills this offseason from the trade of Ryan Bates and the release of Mitch Morse. Entering the NFL Draft, the expectation is that Connor McGovern will be the starting center and David Edwards will step in as the starting left guard.

However, the Bills could use some depth here and the selection of Mason McCormick is a no-brainer. The former South Dakota State guard is exactly the type of offensive lineman the Bills look for as very athletic with a RAS of 9.96 and could push for the starting job as early as this season.
