I'm not sure fans look at the recent Bills teams as some of the best to have ever taken the field in team lore but when you look at the numbers, compared to the competitive level of the conference, you might come away solidly impressed. The 2021 Bills were outstanding, sporting a point differential of 194 and an average margin of victory of 11.4. Both are tops in the Bills' history.

This is the only team in history (post NFL/AFL merger) that was top five in scoring (3rd), points allowed (1st), offensive yards (5th) and yards allowed (1st). When you dig into the numbers and how impressive that team was, it just makes the 13-second game that much more frustrating. That could have, should have been our year.
