If you have Josh Allen as your quarterback in your fantasy football league, it’s pretty obvious that Allen won’t see the bench unless he is on a bye week. However, there are reasons to be excited for this matchup for Allen heading into Week 4.

Not only does it help that Allen is 8-2 against the Dolphins, but he has yet to lose in Buffalo to them. Not to mention, this Bills team has already beaten this Dolphins team with Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert on the field (12/17/22 in Buffalo - Bills won 32-29 after being down 29-21 in the fourth quarter).

No reason to bench Josh Allen in fantasy football in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins

In fantasy, Josh Allen is always a must start for any matchup, but this is more of an exciting week of Allen going up against Miami that should help fantasy owners this week. In 10 games against Miami, Allen’s highest fantasy score took place in December of 2018 where Allen put up 40.46 fantasy points.

His lowest number of points scored was in 2021 in September with 16.66. On average, Allen is averaging 28.67 points against Miami with his 5:1 touchdown-interception ratio. In addition, Allen is also averaging 55 rushing yards per game against the Dolphins.

Even in the two losses against Miami, Allen has scored 28.74 and 26.70 points. The matchup that Allen faces makes it even more of a bonus for fantasy owners who have Allen. Miami has the 21st ranked overall defense and are allowing 23.6 points per game.

There should be nothing less of a stellar performance by Allen heading into this game of the week in Buffalo, in which there should be a ton of touchdowns scored by both teams. In fantasy terms, if you have Allen, expect a likely potential win, or close game at least.
