After the offseason the Buffalo Bills just had, it’s fair to assume that more roster changes will be coming after this season. The Bills restructured some contracts this year to make it more affordable to move on from them in 2025. And some other players may be given one more chance to prove they’re healthy enough to play a full season at a high enough level or can take the next step and finally show the team that they can play up to their contract.

The Bills are projected to be under the salary cap for the 2025 offseason. However, there’s still work to be done if they want to afford some extensions coming up. They can still clear contracts from the books, whether by trades or release and have enough to spend on their own guys and outside free agents.

Gone are the days of the Bills signing outside free agents to mega contracts, at least for right now. There’s a good chance the Bills stun all of us again and release a star player or two in 2025. The Bills are going in a younger direction, and the players that are remaining on this roster don’t have much guaranteed money remaining on their deals, making it a clean move.

Where they decide to go, though, is a different story. Everyone has differing opinions, making Twitter interactions fun. Let’s take a look at two players who could wind up on the chopping block in 2025 to save the Bills some cap space.
