Dalton Kincaid receives high recognition as rising star going into 2024

Outside of Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills do not have any kind of big superstars on the offense. They have solid players like Dion Dawkins and James Cook, both who have risen up their stock within their positions. Then they have players who may not be as well-known across the league outside of Buffalo. The 2024 season might bring the Bills another star on offense in Dalton Kincaid.
Drafted in the first round by the Bills in 2023, Kincaid became a fan favorite and favorite target for Allen down the stretch last season. The second-year tight end has already surpassed Dawson Knox as the number one tight end, and will now have the chance to grow even more as a player that puts him into an elite group of players.
Chris Trapasso from CBS Sports created a list of first round draft picks from 2021 to 2023 that could become big time stars this upcoming season. Kincaid was the first one mentioned in Trapasso’s article.
"Now the Bills have to replace the 152 total targets Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis saw last year in the regular season. And the silky-smooth Kincaid is aligned to be one of the focal points of Buffalo's new, more diverse passing attack. Kincaid won on 55.6% of his contested-catch opportunities -- tied for second only behind LaPorta -- and forced 10 missed tackles on his 81 total catches including the postseason. He'll step into that quasi-elite tier in 2023 right below Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews and George Kittle this season and will be knocking on the door of the elite group heading into 2025."

Kincaid will become a star in 2024
While a lot of focus is on wide receivers like Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Curtis Samuel when it comes to the passing attack, Kincaid has the opportunity to become Josh Allen’s Travis Kelce-like weapon. He became more involved in the game plan as the season went on and should become an immediate go-to guy for Allen this season.
Kincaid finished last year with 91 targets, 73 receptions, 673 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bills fans can expect him to double the numbers in yards and hopefully touchdowns.
