The Buffalo Bills after the first seven weeks of the NFL season are sitting at 4 - 2 on the year and firmly in second place in the AFC East. Just a game behind the Miami Dolphins. The number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball has forced rookie Dorian Williams into the game and getting some valuable reps.

The Bills only drafted six rookies in this past draft and two of them, guard Nick Broeker and corner Alex Austin were both snatched off the Bills practice squad by the Houston Texans; however, Austin was just released this week and could find his way back to Buffalo. As for the other four rookies, three of them are playing significant roles with this team.

The game against the New York Giants was far closer than it should have been but the day in the NFL saw both the remaining undefeated teams beaten by teams in surprising upsets. So, the fact that the Bills escaped with a win is huge. They didn't succumb to the upset bug in the NFL on Sunday.
