Running Backs

The Buffalo Bills run game was able to get back on track and more importantly, James Cook was able to bounce back from a -4 rushing yard game against the Jaguars. He finished the game with 14 rushing attempts for 71 yards and an average of 5.1 yards per carry.

However, it was interesting to see the Bills start the game in a power run formation for the first few drives with Latavius Murray in the backfield. The Bills would have an extra linemen on the field and Murray finished the game with 45 rushing yards on 12 carries.

These are two running backs that might need to handle a majority of the work moving forward. Damien Harris had only one carry and unfortunately suffered a neck injury on that play and he would have to leave the game in an ambulance.

However, the team was able to provide some good news during the game as Harris had movement in both his arms and legs.
