Buffalo Bills Week 17 Preview: 5 key players to watch against Patriots

While the Patriots have a new quarterback, they likely will try to come into this game with a similar offensive game plan that they had back in Week 7. Entering that game, it was clear that the Patriots saw Taron Johnson as a player they could beat in coverage and threw his way early and often.

In that game, Mac Jones attempted 30 passes and nine of them were thrown at Taron Johnson when in coverage. The Patriots completed five of them for 38 yards but more importantly got two touchdowns, the second one which was completed with 12 seconds left in the game.

The Bills nickel corner has been pretty good this year and has allowed only one touchdown in every other game this season. Sean McDermott and the coaching staff needs to be prepared for this and help Taron Johnson in coverage for this game.
