Buffalo Bills: Updated AFC East Standings after Week 6
By Brandon Ray
1.) Miami Dolphins (5-1) - win vs. Carolina Panthers, 42-21
For a quick second in the first quarter, the unexpected happened when the zero-win Carolina Panthers took a 14-0 lead after a pair of Chuba Hubbard and Adam Thielen touchdowns. After that, it was all Miami in this ball game.
The Dolphins would go on to score 35 unanswered points before finally getting back in the endzone on defense, and then Miami got the last touchdown of the game. Raheem Mostert, who is now the main back with De’Von Achane being out for four weeks, rushed the ball for 17 carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns inside the 5-yard line.
At the end of the day, the Dolphins just have too much firepower for the Panthers to handle. Miami improves to 5-1 on the season. It should also be noted that Miami has yet to beat a team above .500 this season.
The Dolphins continue to light up the scoreboard but are in for a true test against the Philadelphia Eagles next week.
