Buffalo Bills: Updated AFC East standings after Week 11
By Brandon Ray
1.) Miami Dolphins (7-3) - win vs. Las Vegas Raiders, 20-13
The Miami Dolphins bounced back from their loss two weeks ago (being on a bye week last week) against the Kansas City Chiefs, as they hosted and defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in south beach, 20-13. It was a different day and the same story between Tua Tagovailoa and wideout Tyreek Hill. The combo connected 10 times for 146 yards and a touchdown.
The next closest receiver to Hill was the second option in Jaylen Waddle who had just 4 catches for 55 yards. Tua was kept clean in the pocket, only being sacked one time by none other than Maxx Crosby. The running game was Raheem Mostert only, after rookie De’Von Achane exited the game with a knee injury. The Dolphins rushed for 99 yards, but it was the passing game that only saw the endzone.
The defense for Miami made Aidan O’Connell look like a rookie by picking him off three times, including the game-winning interception that was grabbed by Jalen Ramsey. The run game for Las Vegas was close to nonexistent, gaining a total of 36 yards on the ground. Wideout Davante Adams did manage to get into the endzone for the first time since Week 3, but it was not enough to get the Raiders a win down in Florida.
Miami remains in first place in the division and they have a favorable matchup coming up for them, as they travel to MetLife for a Friday showdown with the Jets.
