Buffalo Bills: Updated AFC East standings after Week 11
By Brandon Ray
3.) New York Jets (4-6) - loss vs. Buffalo Bills, 32-6
Even though the Jets are just two games under .500, they have lost three games in a row and have only put up 24 total points in that stretch. It also does not help that their quarterback situation is now at a loss and Head Coach Robert Salah will have to make a decision on whether or not Zach Wilson will be under center moving forward. Wilson had only 81 passing yards on the day with a touchdown and interception. It also does not help that Wilson was sacked five times, that included Mehki Becton going down with an injury without returning.
The Jets’ defense gave up a handful of big plays, but ultimately only allowed the Bills’ offense to put up 20 points (Tyler Bass scored 12 points off of four field goals). The true back breaker moment on the defense was giving up an 81 yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Khalil Shakir.
The Jets’ offense is a problem, and it will be yet another season of letting an elite level defense down under poor quarterback play. The Jets not only have decide who will be taking the snaps under center, but will have to prepare for the Miami Dolphins on a short week for their upcoming game this Friday after Thanksgiving.
