3.) New York Jets (2-3) - win vs. Denver Broncos, 31-21

The Jets find themselves back in the win column after three consecutive losses, and they defeat the Denver Broncos in the Nathaniel Hackett revenge game against his old team. After the offseason talk of Broncos’ head coach Sean Payton bashing the coaching job last year by Hackett in Denver, it was the Jets who got the last laugh and sent the Broncos right back to the loss column.

Running back Breece Hall ran the ball 22 times for 177 yards and a touchdown, and the Jets’ defense managed to sack Russell Wilson 4 times for 27 yards and did a scoop-and-score to put the last nail on the coffin for any kind of comeback by the Broncos.

This game was more of a back and forth type of game, with the statistics being similar aside from total yards (407-308), but the Jets won the time of possession by 9 minutes.

The Jets get some momentum by winning this game for Hackett, but will have a tough task at hand with going up against one of the two remaining undefeated teams in the Philadelphia Eagles.
