2.) Buffalo Bills (2-1)

Week 3 result: Win vs. Washington Commanders, 37-3

The Buffalo Bills were back on the road for a matchup against the Washington Commanders and it was all Buffalo from start to finish. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Bills were only up 16-0 which meant that all it took was one turning point for the Commanders to fight their way back into the game. However, the Bills capitalized in the fourth quarter and put up 21 points on the Commanders, and came close to a shutout win as well.

The Bills’ offense put up four touchdowns on the day, two rushing by Latavius Murray and Josh Allen, a receiving touchdown by Gabriel Davis, and a pick-six touchdown by A.J. Epenesa. Tyler Bass also added on three field goals. Despite the one interception thrown by Allen that was essentially a punt, the offense took charge and managed the clock against this tough Commanders defense. They also held the ball for nine more minutes than Washington.

It was the defense who stood out and made life for Sam Howell a nightmare. This was a game that Howell will have to put behind him and not let it ruin his confidence. The Buffalo defense racked up nine sacks and picked off Howell four times. They also added on a total of 15 QB hits. Long story short, Howell is going to be hurting the next couple of days. Linebacker Terrel Bernard once again shined for the defense and Leonard Floyd earned himself a pair of sacks.

The Bills have all of the momentum heading back home, and will now be tested by their toughest opponent yet in the Miami Dolphins.
