1.) Miami Dolphins - win vs. New England Patriots, 24-17

The only remaining undefeated team in the AFC East picked up their first divisional win of the season in Gillette Stadium against the Patriots. A week prior, this Dolphins offense lit up the scoreboard with Tua throwing for 466 yards and Tyreek Hill being the bonebreaker against the Chargers.

Heading into this game against New England, the Dolphins knew that Bill Belichick always has something up his sleeve and part of the potential game plan was to take out Hill from their game plan. Rather than the Dolphins going with their passing attack, it was their run game led by Raheem Mostert that led the way for a Dolphins Sunday night win. Mostert would finish with 121 yards on the ground with two scores. The pass defense for the Patriots was able to limit the Miami passing game but the Dolphins’ main offensive attack was the running game.

On defense, the Dolphins managed to get to quarterback Mac Jones four times and allow only 88 total rushing yards. Even though the Patriots’ offense is more simple compared to the Chargers’ offense a week ago, the Dolphins managed to step up their game and take away any kind of hope for the Patriots’ offense. Miami is solely in first place of the division and they are back at home for the first time this season where they will host the Denver Broncos.
