Defensive ends: Von Miller, Leonard Floyd, Gregory Rousseau, Boogie Basham, A.J. Epenesa (5)

This might be the most exciting defensive unit for the Bills heading into the 2023 season. Star edge rusher Von Miller has been vocalizing that he plans on suiting up for week one, after tearing his ACL on Thanksgiving last season. However, in 11 games last season Miller racked up 8 sacks which is impressive itself.

If Miller is not ready to go for the start of the season, there is no need to worry. The Buffalo Bills went out and signed Leonard Floyd who has had three consecutive seasons of 9+ sacks to pair with Greg Rousseau.

With Basham and Epenesa, they have made small strides in their career each season with the Bills. The only potential move that could be realistic is Epenesa not making the roster because it is a contract year for him, and if the Bills believe they could get trade value for him, it could be possible that Epenesa isn’t on the Bills this season.
