Defensive Tackles: Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Poona Ford, Tim Settle (4)
This may seem like a bold prediction, seeing as how the Bills have had trouble stopping the run the past few seasons. However, I have a strong belief that the Bills will prioritize the offensive line in order to protect Allen.
With the defensive line, the Bills don’t have a defensive lineman signed past the 2023 season other than Ed Oliver, who signed a four-year contract extension this past offseason. Aside from Oliver, the three other linemen are going into a contract season this year. Last season, Jones was the most consistent run stopper in the middle of the line, and Settle made flashes at times.
The Bills signed Poona Ford as a late free agent signing that could be a steal for the Bills. Ford will be able to serve in rotation that keeps everyone fresh and to the best of their ability, get to the ball and stop the run.
These four projections would mean that Jordan Phillips is not a member of the Bills.
