Wide receiver: Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Khalil Shakir, Deonte Harty, Trent Sherfield, Justin Shorter, Andy Isabella (7)
In a pass-first offense, the Bills will need to surround their franchise quarterback with the best weapons possible going into week one. This outside weapon room might be the most depth that Allen has to work with, along with his star receiver in Diggs.
Davis is heading into his contract year with the Bills, meaning that he could be set for a breakout season for the free agent market next offseason. Shakir has a year under his belt in the system and could step into the slot position as a security blanket.
Harty could definitely see some time in special teams but also be used as a gadget player in the offense as a receiver and out of the backfield. Sherfield and Shorter are big-bodied receivers who could stretch the field to open up the middle for Allen.
The Bills then signed receiver Andy Isabella during training camp who is a speedy option that the Bills can put on the field in the passing game, or even just on special teams to allow Harty to contribute more in the offense.
Tight end: Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid (2)
Along with the wide receiver room, the two tights in Knox and Kincaid should serve Allen as a reliable duo in the pass attack. Knox and Allen have built up a great connection and they trust each other. In addition, Knox also just received a four-year contract extension last season. He’s certainly not going anywhere.
As for Kincaid, he is looked at as the next big weapon for Allen behind Diggs. He has been turning heads during training camp with this route-running and ability to break away in the open field. The first round pick may serve as more of a receiver than anything, especially in the red zone which is something the Bills struggled with last season.
This is a position that Bills fans should be very excited for because of the versatility both Knox and Kincaid provide.
