The defense nabs three interceptions

The first interception came in the earlier portion of practice. Josh Allen threw the ball over the middle, it was tipped by a few defenders and popped up, cornerback/safety Cam Lewis went up and brought it down.

The second came from All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer who made a great read and jumped a route to snag an interception. The third one came on a pass from Josh Allen, which was in the hands of Khalil Shakir, but came loose and ended up in a Terrel Bernard interception.

Justin Shorter makes some plays

The Bills’ fifth-round pick from this year, wide receiver Justin Shorter, was definitely notable today. He made a few nice catches, including a back-endzone touchdown catch. Shorter did get a few reps with Allen as his quarterback in the 7-on-7s and made his nicest of the day. He ran a 13-yard out-route and used his size (6’4”) to go up and catch the pass in traffic.

Fans will be happy with the Buffalo Bills offense practicing these

A theme last season was fans getting mad at Ken Dorsey for not calling any screen passes. Today, the offense practiced them. Two of them went to Khalil Shakir and another one went to Stefon Diggs.

The team will be back at practice again Friday Morning, and it’s gearing towards being a hot one.
