Well, Bills Mafia, you have made it. The long off-season that has seemed to drag on, is over. Buffalo Bills football is officially back, as training camp officially kicked off Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. It was packed, as the loyal Bills fans were eager to see their beloved Bills return to the field, for the first time since January.

There were tons of new faces on the field, as well as the return of some fan favorites, and of course, Josh Allen. When players began to run out of the tunnel towards practice, cheers could be heard echoing across the campus of St. John Fisher College. The loudest ovation was for Damar Hamlin. It was the safety’s first time in front of fans since his terrible incident last December. Hamlin is officially a full participant and cleared for all football activities.

Not practicing, but in attendance, was Von Miller who’s aiming for a week one return, Jordan Phillips, and Tyler Matakevich. All three of them are on the active/PUP list. Also to note, wide receiver Stefon Diggs spoke to the media for the first time at camp today since last season. Diggs said that all the drama that happened around Minicamp is just, “water under the bridge.”

Now, since it was only day one, the Bills were in shorts and helmets. While they aren’t going full speed without pads, getting reps in is still very important. In football, when there are no pads on, it’s natural for the offense to look better. That was the case today. So without further ado, let’s get into the practice notes from day one of Buffalo Bills Training Camp.
