1. Kaiir Elam

Starting with the most criticized player who had big shoes to fill for this game, the 2022 first-round selection out of Florida.

Elam had a tough task guarding two very talented receivers Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley. Elam's man coverage and physical style of play were his number one strength playing in a mainly zone defense hasn't benefitted him so far as he was listed fourth on the depth chart in his position.

After Elam's disappointing rookie season in 2022, where quarterbacks would have a 96.3 quarterback rating when targeting him, Elam had an opportunity to prove himself as a player but failed to do so as Ridley recorded 7 receptions for 122 yards, and Christian Kirk would record 6 receptions for 78 yards.

Not every reception was on Elam, but Ridley and Krik were easily able to gain separation against Elam when they were manned up and didn't help Elam's case in being worth a 23rd overall pick. Elam would be benched in the fourth quarter in favor of practice squad call-up Ja'marcus Ingram.

However, it is a long season and Elam is only 22 years old, so there's plenty of time for him to improve and bounce back.
