The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars faced off for a matchup in London to kick off the Sunday action in week five of the NFL season. For Bills' wide receiver Stefon Diggs, he was going up against a Jags' secondary that is top ten in the NFL in picks, but they are towards the bottom of the league in passing yardage and yards per pass attempt. This had the makings of another career day for Diggs.

And a career day it was, Diggs had 8 of Allen's 27 completions for 121 yards. He was targeted a total of 11 times so he caught the majority of balls thrown his way. As expected against the Jacksonville secondary, he averaged 15.1 yards per catch getting lots of positive yardage. His longest catch during the game was a 48-yard bomb in the third quarter. Diggs also had a touchdown during the matchup. It was one of Buffalo's three on the day.

Diggs was one of two Bills players with 100+ receiving yards as Gabe Davis also cracked the mark with 100 yards flat and a touchdown grab.

It was the fourth 100+ yard game for Diggs this season as he is beginning to put together a career season. He led the Bills team in receiving yards, receptions, and targets against the Jaguars. He was the main factor for the Bills offense as they struggled to put any form of run game together throughout the game in London.

Stefon Diggs Week 5 Grade: A

Diggs once again put together a masterful performance in the Buffalo receiving game. His efforts were enough to keep Buffalo in a game they found themselves behind in quite a bit as they never had the lead against Jacksonville.

His performance was helpful also in the sense that the Bills' woeful run game was a big factor in their second loss of the 2023 season. Buffalo put together 29 total rushing yards compared to Jacksonville's 196 total yards on the ground during the game. Quarterback Josh Allen was the leading rusher with 14 yards on the day.

Diggs' great day made up for the Bills' flaws running the ball in the 25-20 loss. As you can see it was not quite enough to push them over the top but he has proven through five weeks, including the Jacksonville game in London, that he is the main yard/play creator on offense going forward.

The Buffalo Bills have a Sunday night matchup against the New York Giants in Highmark Stadium following this loss to the Jaguars. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. E.T.
