Buffalo Bills: Stealing one player from every AFC East opponent

This is the time of the year when content creators like me like to have fun with off-the-wall, hypotheticals. So, here we are selecting one player from each of the Buffalo Bills' divisional rivals to steal and add to their roster.

Garrett Wilson - Wide Receiver - New Jersey Jets

My first choice comes from the New Jersey Jets, selecting wide receiver Garrett Wilson.  I went with Wilson for a few different reasons.  One is his youth, as he’s only 22 years old but he’s one of the brightest up-and-coming stars at the position.

He’s not only one of the best receivers in the AFC East but he’ll be one of the best in the league before too long.  Now he has a future Hall of Fame quarterback throwing to him and he’s poised for a massive season.  Imagine what the combo of Stefon Diggs and he can be with Josh Allen slinging them passes.

I mentioned the duo of Diggs and Wilson but Wilson would also give the Bills a number one receiver once Diggs is no longer that guy.  Don’t get me wrong, I am a big fan of the Bills wide receiver corps but none of them are at the level Wilson is already.  I think Khalil Shakir will surprise some fans this season in a good way but in today’s league, you can’t have too much talent at the position.

Wilson earned a PFF grade of 82.7 a season ago, which ranked him 12th in the league.  He finished 2022 with 83 receptions and over 1,100 yards, with four touchdowns.  He put up those numbers with arguably the worst quarterback room in the league too.

I know a lot of people would go with Quinnen Williams or Sauce Gardner but as I said before, I’m looking to improve the Bills in the best way possible and there is another team that has someone that would help the Bills on the defensive line.
