Why the Buffalo Bills shouldn’t overlook the Washington Commanders

In Week 3 the Buffalo Bills (1-1) will square off against the Washington Commanders (2-0) for the first time in franchise history, as 6.5-point favorites on the road. This will be the third time in the previous three matchups with Buffalo that the Commanders have donned a different name, including the Redskins and Football Team.

But these Commanders are no joke, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

While the Commanders weren't expected to seriously damage the NFC playoff landscape this season, they have gotten off to an undefeated start that could challenge the Buffalo Bills somewhat inconsistent nature at FedEx Field in North Englewood, Maryland this Sunday.

Rightfully so, the Bills are expected to handle the Commanders this upcoming week — but here's why the team and 'Bills Mafia' shouldn't jump to any conclusions prior to kickoff.
