Week 10: Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills
The Denver Broncos had a disastrous first season with Russell Wilson as their quarterback and would fire head coach Nathaniel Hackett before he could even complete one season with the franchise. The Broncos would end up trading for Sean Payton to be their next head coach and they are hoping the veteran coach can turn this team around.
The strength of this team lies on the defensive side of the ball as they had one of the best defenses in the league last year. However, they didn't get the credit they deserved because of how bad the offense was. Even if Payton can get improvements from Russ and this offense, this is a game the Buffalo Bills should win at home in a primetime matchup.
Prediction: Win (9-1)
Week 11: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Last season, the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets split the season series with both home teams coming away with the win. The matchups this year could look significantly different as the Jets would trade for Aaron Rodgers and add a number of wide receivers including Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman Jr. and Randall Cobb.
The hope for the Jets is that the investments on the offensive side of the ball can get this team back to the playoffs with a defense that was one of the best units in the league last season. The Buffalo Bills get an early season matchup that works in their favor as the Jets are still working things out on the offensive side of the ball.
At this point in the season, the Jets should have that all figured out and are able to get a win here to split the series with Buffalo also coming off a short week.
