After an incredibly busy start to the month of March with a number of big moves made by the Buffalo Bills, the news is likely to start to slow down. The Bills were able to get under the salary cap before the start of free agency and created enough room to address some key roster needs.

The Bills should continue to look at free agents but the focus starts to shift more to the NFL Draft at the end of April as the team has 11 draft picks over the seven rounds. This will be the time when teams start to narrow their draft board and take a closer look at some key prospects. That appears to be the case for the Buffalo Bills with this wide receiver.

Buffalo Bills Rumors: Bills to bring in Troy Franklin for a private workout

The wide receiver position is one that the Bills will be heavily focused on with Gabe Davis now in Jacksonville, Trent Sherfield in Minnesota, and Deonte Harty also being released. One area that the Bills could use some help is with speed and that is something Troy Franklin certainly would bring.

According to Tony Pauline with Sportskeeda, the Bills will be bringing Franklin to Western New York for a private workout on Friday. At the NFL Combine, Franklin ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds but as Pauline notes he was dealing with a sickness during that.

At Oregon in his final season with the Ducks he had 81 receptions, 1,383 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He steadily improved every season at Oregon and could be an option for the Bills in the first round or if they elect to trade back from that first round pick.
