Buffalo Bills go big and trade for Aaron Donald

The one trade that would alter the AFC race the most would be if the Buffalo Bills could trade for defensive tackle Aaron Donald. After the injury to DaQuan Jones, the Bills could use help at defensive tackle and there is no one better than Donald at the position.

Aaron Donald has built quite a resume over his 10-year career with 10 Pro Bowl nominations, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year (three times), and first-team All-Pro eight times. Last season, he finished with the lowest sack total of his career with five but this season looks to be bouncing back with 2.5 through five games.

There would be multiple factors that went into a trade discussion but the first would be having to see if Aaron Donald would even want to be traded. He has spent his entire career with the Rams and the team may leave it up to him if he wants to chase another ring before he retires.

Fortunately, the Bills have two players that know Donald well with Von Miller and Leonard Floyd, who have been teammates of Donald during their time with the Rams. If there is anyone who could convince the defensive tackle that the Buffalo Bills are the team to be with, it would be these two.

In addition, the two sides would need to agree to the Rams paying a large portion of the salary but it might be worth it to the Rams with Donald towards the end of his career, and the team needing draft picks.
