Casey Hayward

Among all the free agent options for the Buffalo Bills, Casey Hayward has probably the most experience as a starting cornerback and been a full-time starter most recently. In his 11 year career, Hayward has 118 career starts between his time with the Chargers, Packers, Raiders and Falcons.

In 2021, he started all 17 games for the Las Vegas Raiders with one interception and nine passes defended. Last year, he was with the Falcons and started six games with one interception and three passes defended but suffered a pectoral injury that cost him the rest of the season.

Hayward was medically cleared from that injury recently and reportedly is looking for a depth role with a team. The two-time Pro Bowl cornerback could be a perfect fit with the Buffalo Bills and it would also give Hayward a chance at a Super Bowl ring before he calls it a career.
