Josh Norman

Another cornerback who is familiar with the Buffalo Bills and their coaching staff is Josh Norman. He played only one season in Buffalo, back in 2020, but prior to that spent a number of years with Sean McDermott when both were with the Carolina Panthers.

Norman's best season would be in 2015 with McDermott as his defensive coordinator as he was a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl nomination with four interceptions and 18 passes defended. In Buffalo, he would play in 9 games, with three starts, and record one interception (which he returned for a touchdown) and four passes defended. At the time, he was splitting snaps with Levi Wallace as the second cornerback opposite Tre'Davious White.

After the Bills, he played one season with the 49ers and this past year appeared in two games for the Carolina Panthers. After the 2022 season, Norman did say that he could still play, according to Darin Gantt. Now that was almost nine months ago and things could change but Norman could be a veteran the coaching staff wants to add with his knowledge of the defense if he looks good in a workout.
