Xavier Rhodes

The first player is one that the Buffalo Bills should know well as they signed Xavier Rhodes as a free agent to their practice squad around this time last season. However, Rhodes suffered an injury shortly after and was placed on injured reserve.

He would eventually return and be signed to the active roster towards the end of November. He played in two games, with one start during the regular season with four total tackles in those two games.

Rhodes is a veteran cornerback who played nine seasons in the NFL, seven with the Minnesota Vikings and two with the Indianapolis Colts before joining Buffalo last year.

At 33 years old, he is towards the end of his career and wasn't with any team during training camp or the preseason this summer. He would almost certainly need a few weeks to get back into game shape. However, what he does bring is familiarity with this scheme and could be a veteran voice at a position that has now lost a lot of experience.
