5 free agents the Buffalo Bills could sign after Matt Milano's injury
Jon Bostic
The final free agent that could be an option for the Buffalo Bills after Matt Milano's injury is Jon Bostic. He is a veteran linebacker who has played for five teams in his career, which began in 2013 as a second round pick by the Chicago Bears.
He has 86 career starts during his NFL career, a majority of which came between 2017 and 2020 when he had one year stops with the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers before two years with Washington as a full-time starter. He would remain with Washington in 2021 and 2022 but he was primarily a backup with only nine starts during that stretch.
The reason that Bostic makes sense for the Buffalo Bills is he played a number of years in Ron Rivera's defense. The defense that Rivera runs is similar to what the Bills have run under Sean McDermott as the two coaches spent a number of years together in Carolina with the Panthers.
