Travin Howard

Another linebacker who knows this defense and could be a player the Buffalo Bills look to sign is Travin Howard. The Bills signed him as a free agent this offseason and he spent most of the summer with the team before being released during the team's final roster cuts.

Howard was a seventh round draft pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2018 NFL Draft and in his first three seasons appeared in 29 games but started only two regular seasons. However, due to injuries during the Rams Super Bowl run in 2020, he would start two playoff games.

If the Buffalo Bills elect to promote A.J. Klein from the practice squad to the active roster, the Bills signing Travin Howard to the practice squad would make a lot of sense. He showed flashes during the preseason, like this tackle on a two-point conversion against the Indianapolis Colts, and could be good depth at a time when the Bills need it.
