Brandin Bryant

Another defensive tackle who has been with the Buffalo Bills and played well in spurts has been Brandin Bryant. He was signed to the team's practice squad during the 2020 season and over three seasons has appeared in seven regular season games with six total tackles and one QB hit.

The Bills signed Bryant to a future/reserve contract after the season but he was released back in June to create a roster spot for offensive tackle Brandon Shell.

The best case scenario for the Buffalo Bills would have been to still have Eli Ankou available. He had been on the practice squad to start the year but last week was signed by the Atlanta Falcons. However, if the Bills want to add someone who could step in almost right away, especially if DaQuan Jones could return later in the season, then a player like Bryan or Zimmer makes a lot of sense.
