Poona Ford

This next cut would be specifically to create room for DaQuan Jones as his return would give the Buffalo Bills five defensive tackles on the 53-man roster. Poona Ford was a late free agent signing for the Bills and at the time seemed like a great fit for this defense.

However, Ford hasn't really lived up to expectations and since the Bills signed Linval Joseph during the season, Ford has been mostly a healthy scratch. He did play this past week against the Chargers and played pretty well while registering a sack.

Unfortunately, it would just be a numbers game for the Buffalo Bills with Ed Oliver, Linval Joseph, and Tim Settle all ahead of Ford on the depth chart. Similar to Jonathan, the Bills probably would try to bring Ford back on the practice squad for added depth but he would be the odd man out on the 53-man roster.
