Alec Anderson

Alec Anderson was an undrafted free agent signing last offseason and spent the majority of the season on the practice squad. He was brought back and had a really good training camp and preseason before earning a spot on the 53-man roster.

The Buffalo Bills made sure he was on the roster due to his versatility as he can play almost every position across the offensive line. However, Anderson has been inactive every game this season and the focus should be looking to have players on the 53-man roster that can contribute during the playoffs.

It seems unlikely at this point that Anderson would be in a position to play being where he is on the depth chart so creating a roster spot for another wide receiver like Shorter or a starting defensive tackle like DaQuan Jones makes sense. The Bills almost certainly would look to bring back Anderson to their practice squad if he were to clear waivers.
