Spencer Brown

Spencer Brown was the third round pick for the Buffalo Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft and was entering a pivotal season in 2023. He would start 10 games as a rookie and while he excelled in run-blocking, he struggled protecting Josh Allen.

Brown would have offseason back surgery that really seemed to impact his 2022 season as he would start 14 games but seemingly regressed. That made this season a key year because he is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2024.

The good news is that Spencer Brown looked as good, if not better, than he did his rookie season. There is a case to be made that he could be a long-term starter at right tackle and the Bills should want to work out an extension.

It will ultimately come down to dollars for Brown as offensive tackle is another premium position. There is no question that it will be sizeable contract and a big pay raise from his rookie deal. It wouldn't be surprising for the starting right tackle get a contract extension this offseason based on the contract below.

Projected Contract: 4 years, $48 million
