1.) Austin Ekeler - Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers always seem to have a lot of talent but injuries have not been kind to them. One thing that has helped them light up the scoreboard is Austin Ekeler, who seems to be in the conversation as one of if not the best running back in the league.
An interesting stat about Ekeler is that he has never reached over 1,000 rushing yards in a season, yet he has scored 25 rushing touchdowns the last two seasons and has put up 1,369 receiving yards and 13 touchdown catches the last two seasons as well.
Luckily, the Bills do not have to face Ekeler until Week 16 in Los Angeles, but if he manages to stay healthy and continues his momentum, the Bills will have their hands full against arguably the best back in football. If the Bills are able to contain Ekeler, that will limit the Chargers’ offense and force Justin Herbert to throw it up to the Bills’ secondary who can change the game in favor of the Bills.
