Ranking the best quarterbacks on the Buffalo Bills 2023 schedule: No. 4, Aaron Rodgers

The belief around Aaron Rodgers seems to be that he's still an elite quarterback, and I tend to agree with that sentiment. Last year, he looked a little off at times, but he was also fed up with Green Bay and the relationship had seemed severed for a couple of years already.

Now with the New York Jets, Rodgers has been welcomed with open arms and the team is building everything they can around him so that the organization can make a Super Bowl run. Rodgers is now a four-time MVP; something Allen can look at and aspire to be if he wants to follow in the footsteps of one of the greats.

Of course, these two teams will meet in New York for the season's first Monday Night Football game before meeting once more in Buffalo in Week 11. Rodgers is 1-1 against Josh Allen in his career, and has thrown for 501 yards, three touchdowns and two picks.

The 39-year-old Rodgers is toward the tail end of his career, so he's going to be on a mission this season, and has plenty of weaponry around him. It will be up to the Bills to halt any momentum from beginning in Week 1, and then again 10 weeks later.
