Dalton Kincaid

The biggest question mark this season is how involved Dalton Kincaid will be. The reason this is an uncertainty is that tight ends have historically struggled in their first season in the NFL and the Bills have not given rookies big roles right from the start.

However, Kincaid is likely not going to be used in a typical tight end role as he is more of a pass catcher and not a blocker. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey should be looking to line him up in the slot, or even out wide, to take advantage of his size against cornerbacks or his quickness against linebackers and create mismatches.

The Bills have a number of players that will warrant targets after Stefon Diggs, who will once again lead the team in this category, with Gabe Davis, James Cook, and Dawson Knox. It wouldn't be surprising to see him be as high as third in this offense in targets and as low as sixth or seventh.

In the end, Kincaid should see the same amount of targets as Knox but more likely they will be in the middle of the field before Dawson Knox takes over.

2023 stats for Dalton Kincaid: 55 targets, 40 receptions, 500 receiving yards, 3 touchdowns
