4 Buffalo Bills players who won't survive training camp
By Ryan Heckman
3. Isaiah Coulter, WR
At wide receiver, the Bills obviously have one of the best in the game with Stefon Diggs. After an offseason highlighted by a bit of drama, Diggs and the team appear to be in a good position. More importantly and specifically, Diggs and Josh Allen appear to be just fine.
Other than Diggs, the Bills have Gabe Davis, whom they're continuing to wait on a true breakout from. Davis is running out of time, too, because he's entering a contract year. Then, there's a few other guys like second-year pro Khalil Shakir, along with veterans Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield.
The sixth receiver in line is fifth-round rookie Justin Shorter out of Florida, which effectively rounds out the team's depth at receiver. But, there are still another seven guys competing for a spot if the Bills decide to keep seven wide receivers. More than likely, it's seven guys competing for a practice squad position.
One of those receivers is veteran Isaiah Coulter, who didn't appear in a regular season game last year after spending time with Chicago and Houston to begin his career. Coulter only has one career target and zero receptions, so it's easy to see why he wouldn't wind up surviving camp in the end.
