2. Christian Benford, CB

For two preseason games, now, Dane Jackson has started over Christian Benford. Last year, the 2022 sixth-round pick started five games for the Bills and came up with five passes defended to go along with one interception.

He's a great depth piece and a spot starter, but the Bills could also look to throw his name out there as trade bait for other teams who are hurting at the position. There are several teams around the league, right now, who would love to have a young cornerback like Benford that could step in and start if need be.

One of those teams, the Baltimore Ravens, continue to struggle with injuries at the position and recently signed veteran Ronald Darby. More than likely, Darby will start for Baltimore with veteran Marlon Humphrey injured.

The Steelers have also dealt with injuries in their secondary for a few weeks now, and might be a good landing spot for Benford. He might not net much in return, but he's showed promise as a potential long-term starter
