The Bills are extremely deep at safety, especially after this offseason. One of the team's best moves made this offseason was to bring back leader and fan favorite Jordan Poyer. The Bills won every single game Poyer started and finished in the regular season last year, which is one of the more impressive stats you'll find anywhere.

Starting next to Poyer is fellow veteran Micah Hyde. Behind Hyde, at strong safety, is Dean Marlowe, who should have his spot on the roster locked up. But, behind Poyer is a free agent signing that Bills fans are excited about: former 2019 second-round pick Taylor Rapp, who is extremely versatile and as talented a backup as you'll find in this league.

Then, of course, you have Damar Hamlin, who isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. That's five safeties the Bills could keep, potentially, with two more on the roster. The other two, behind Hamlin, are veterans Jared Mayden and Zayne Anderson.

Anderson, the former Chief, has been a practice squad player for most of his career and currently sits last on the Bills' depth chart at safety. Unfortunately for him, he won't get a chance to do a whole lot before seeing his time up in Buffalo.
